Postgraduate courses are aimed at fulfilling what is prescribed in the UFRJ Statute and are governed by university legislation, by the norms and guidelines established by CEPG (Teaching Council for Graduates), and by its own Rules of Procedure. They secure, for faculty and students, regular and systematic association between postgraduate teaching activities and research activities.
Doctorate: aims at training for undergraduate teaching and broad and in-depth scientific training, developing individual research capacity, creativity in the different fields of knowledge and the ability to teach in undergraduate studies stricto sensu e lato sensu. It must be obtained within a maximum period of 48 (forty eight) months. |
