The research group Media, Audiovisual Journalism and Education: possible dialogues (MJAE) is certified by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and linked to PPGCOM-ECO / UFRJ. The group was created in 2015 and contributes to the training of young researchers through teaching, research and extension activities. The MJAE proposes to reflect on the current configurations and innovations of the production, circulation and resignification of news and fictional content and formats in audio and video, as well as on the relevance of the incorporation of the theoretical and methodological dimensions of Televisual Analysis and Media and Education in researches and university and school education. The results achieved have been systematized in the form of published scientific manuscripts and book chapters, as well as in the presentation in specialized forums in Brazil and abroad.
